Astrovortrag: Wie sieht man ein schwarzes Loch? (Entfällt! 03.03.2020 | 19.30 Uhr)
Der Vortrag entfällt wegen Anreiseschwierigkeiten des Referenten!
Schwarze Löcher sind eine Vorhersage der Relativitätstheorie. Man hat sie noch nie gesehen. Es gibt jedoch hervorragende Anzeichen, wie etwa Messungen mit Gravitationswellendetektoren, die zeigen, dass sie existieren. Prof. Dr. Michael Kramer vom Max-Planck-Institut für Radioastronomie in Bonn berichtet, wie Astronomen Schwarze Löcher beobachten und versuchen, Bilder von ihnen aufzunehmen.

Himmelsführung: Die Sterne von Fachleuten erklärt (05.03.2020 | 19.30 Uhr)
Der Himmel bietet das beste Abendprogramm. Mit den Sternfreunden Münster und dem LWL-Museum für Naturkunde können Sterneninteressierte und Neugierige auf dem Vorplatz des Museums durch Teleskope live in den Himmel schauen.

Konzert: Marie Séférian Quartett - Khalil & May (07.03.2020 | 19.30 Uhr)
Das "Marie Séférian Quartett" verbindet in schwebender Eleganz Bilder, Geschichten, Lyrik und Musik. Die Brieffreundschaft von Khalil Gibran zu May Ziadé gab den vier Musikern den Anlass, Gedichte beider Lyriker zu vertonen und so eine lyrisch-musikalische Begegnung zu schaffen. Die Zuhörer dürfen sich auf eine musikalische Reise durch Schmerz, Liebe und Naturgewalt freuen.

Astrovortrag: Parker Solar Probe - Der Sonne zum Greifen nah (17.03.2020 | 19.30 Uhr)
Nach ihrem Start 2018 hat die NASA-Raumsonde "Parker Solar Probe" bereits Daten aus bisher unerreichter Nähe zur Sonne geliefert. Dr. Volker Bothmer vom Institut für Astrophysik Göttingen erklärt in seinem Vortrag die Entwicklung dieser einzigartigen Weltraummission und stellt die neuesten Ergebnisse der Messungen der Raumsonde dar.

Buchvorstellung: Die Schriften des Mathematikers und Astronomen Joseph Plassmann (24.03.2020 | 19.00)
Engelbert Plassmann hat eine Biografie über seinen bekannten Großvater, den Astronomen Joseph Plassmann geschrieben. Zusammen mit Michael Dütting von dem Verein "Sternfreunde Münster" stellt er in seinem Vortrag den Astronomen und Mathematiker Joseph Plassmann vor.

Astronomietag: Himmelsführung (28.03.2020 | 20.30 Uhr)

Der LWL im Überblick:
Der Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) arbeitet als Kommunalverband mit mehr als 17.000 Beschäftigten für die 8,3 Millionen Menschen in der Region. Der LWL betreibt 35 Förderschulen, 21 Krankenhäuser, 18 Museen, zwei Besucherzentren und ist einer der größten deutschen Hilfezahler für Menschen mit Behinderung. Er erfüllt damit Aufgaben im sozialen Bereich, in der Behinderten- und Jugendhilfe, in der Psychiatrie und in der Kultur, die sinnvollerweise westfalenweit wahrgenommen werden. Ebenso engagiert er sich für eine inklusive Gesellschaft in allen Lebensbereichen. Die neun kreisfreien Städte und 18 Kreise in Westfalen-Lippe sind die Mitglieder des LWL. Sie tragen und finanzieren den Landschaftsverband, dessen Aufgaben ein Parlament mit 116 Mitgliedern aus den westfälischen Kommunen gestaltet.

Der LWL im Überblick:<br>
Der Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) arbeitet als Kommunalverband mit mehr als 17.000 Beschäftigten für die 8,3 Millionen Menschen in der Region. Der LWL betreibt 35 Förderschulen, 21 Krankenhäuser, 18 Museen, zwei Besucherzentren und ist einer der
größten deutschen Hilfezahler für Menschen mit Behinderung. Er erfüllt damit Aufgaben im sozialen Bereich, in der Behinderten- und Jugendhilfe, in der Psychiatrie und in der Kultur, die sinnvollerweise westfalenweit wahrgenommen werden. Ebenso engagiert er
sich für eine inklusive Gesellschaft in allen Lebensbereichen. Die neun kreisfreien Städte und 18 Kreise in Westfalen-Lippe sind die Mitglieder des LWL. Sie tragen und finanzieren den Landschaftsverband, dessen Aufgaben ein Parlament mit 116 Mitgliedern aus
den westfälischen Kommunen gestaltet.<br>
