Sommerferienprogramm: Werkstattnachmittage (27.06.2020 | 14.30 Uhr)
Am Samstag (27.6.) beginnt das Sommerferienprogramm im LWL-Museum für Naturkunde mit einem Werkstattnachmittag zum Thema Dinosaurier. Mutige junge und ältere Forscher lernen alles über die Giganten der Urzeit. Anmelden können sich alle Kombinationen von Mama mit Sohn bis Opa mit Enkelin. Jeden Samstag in den Ferien gibt es einen Werkstattnachmittag zu einem anderen Thema.

Kunst-Projekt: Zuhause(n) (Einsendeschluss | 31.07.2020)
Werden Sie Teil eines Kunstwerkes! Im Projekt "Zuhause(n)" werden die eigenen vier Wände in der Corona-Zeit künstlerisch mit und für Sie thematisiert. Wir wollen wissen, wie es Ihnen Daheim ergeht - was Sie fühlen und denken und suchen nach Texten dazu. Schreiben Sie uns Ihre Gedanken und Geschichten! Schicken Sie Texte: ob lang oder kurz, ob sehr persönlich oder in Stichworten, ob lyrisch oder dokumentarisch... - ob per Mail<mailto:ZuhauseN2020 at gmail.com?subject=Zuhause(n)> oder als handgeschriebenen Brief (wir freuen uns!).

Kinder-AG: Naturkukis (08.08.2020 | 10.30 Uhr)
Für Kinder zwischen 8-10 Jahren bietet das LWL-Museum für Naturkunde eine neue naturkundliche AG: die "Naturkukis". Sie bekommen hier die Möglichkeit, sich regelmäßig mit Gleichgesinnten zu treffen und etwas über die Natur zu erfahren. Unter anderem werden Artenkenntnisse vermittelt oder ökologische Zusammenhänge gemeinsam mit den Kindern beleuchtet. Die Treffen sind immer am 2. und 4. Samstag des Monats von 10.30 bis 13.00 Uhr.

Erwachsene: Führungen
Es sind wieder Führungen für Erwachsene durch die Dauer- und Sonderausstellungen möglich. Im LWL-Museum für Naturkunde wartet auf Gruppen ein vielfältiges Angebot an Führungen. Westfalen, Dinosaurier oder die aktuelle Sonderausstellung - ansprechende und spannende Themenführungen geben Ihnen tiefer gehende Einblicke in die Dauer- und Sonderausstellungen im Naturkundemuseum. Nehmen Sie sich rund eine Stunde Zeit und entdecken Sie das Leben der Dinosaurier oder erkunden Sie die Beziehungsformen in der Natur.

Der LWL im Überblick:
Der Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) arbeitet als Kommunalverband mit mehr als 17.000 Beschäftigten für die 8,3 Millionen Menschen in der Region. Der LWL betreibt 35 Förderschulen, 21 Krankenhäuser, 18 Museen, zwei Besucherzentren und ist einer der größten deutschen Hilfezahler für Menschen mit Behinderung. Er erfüllt damit Aufgaben im sozialen Bereich, in der Behinderten- und Jugendhilfe, in der Psychiatrie und in der Kultur, die sinnvollerweise westfalenweit wahrgenommen werden. Ebenso engagiert er sich für eine inklusive Gesellschaft in allen Lebensbereichen. Die neun kreisfreien Städte und 18 Kreise in Westfalen-Lippe sind die Mitglieder des LWL. Sie tragen und finanzieren den Landschaftsverband, dessen Aufgaben ein Parlament mit 116 Mitgliedern aus den westfälischen Kommunen gestaltet.

Der LWL im Überblick:<br>
Der Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) arbeitet als Kommunalverband mit mehr als 17.000 Beschäftigten für die 8,3 Millionen Menschen in der Region. Der LWL betreibt 35 Förderschulen, 21 Krankenhäuser, 18 Museen, zwei Besucherzentren und ist einer der
 größten deutschen Hilfezahler für Menschen mit Behinderung. Er erfüllt damit Aufgaben im sozialen Bereich, in der Behinderten- und Jugendhilfe, in der Psychiatrie und in der Kultur, die sinnvollerweise westfalenweit wahrgenommen werden. Ebenso engagiert er
 sich für eine inklusive Gesellschaft in allen Lebensbereichen. Die neun kreisfreien Städte und 18 Kreise in Westfalen-Lippe sind die Mitglieder des LWL. Sie tragen und finanzieren den Landschaftsverband, dessen Aufgaben ein Parlament mit 116 Mitgliedern aus
 den westfälischen Kommunen gestaltet.<br>
